Delete your SaleTrek account

Delete it in the app

1. Open SaleTrek and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Check the confirmation box: "I understand this is permanent and can't be undone."
5. Tap Permanently delete my account.
6. Confirm in the dialog by tapping Delete forever.

The deletion runs as soon as you confirm. It cannot be undone.

If you can’t open the app

Email support.saletrek@gmail.com from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We may need to verify that the request is yours. We will delete the account within a reasonable time and as required by law.

What is deleted

Deleting the account removes your sign-in and the data tied to it, including the photos stored for you. That includes:

• Your profile, including your display name and profile photo
• Your sales, including photos, addresses, dates, and item details
• Your Marketplace listings and their photos
• Your messages and offers
• Your saved sales
• Your follows
• Blocks you created, and blocks other people placed on you
• Your notification settings and push tokens
• The purchase history stored in your SaleTrek account
• Community Sale Days you organized

What is kept, and for how long

• Purchase records may be kept as needed for accounting, tax, and fraud prevention, even after account deletion, but they are no longer linked to your profile where possible. We do not keep your card or payment details. Apple and Google keep their own records of store purchases.
• Paid sponsorships are not refunded. Deleting your account does not cancel or refund purchases made through Apple or Google (Featured, Top Spot, and starting-soon boosts).
• Some records may remain for a short time in backups, or where we must keep them by law. Backups and logs are kept for a limited time and then overwritten.
• A safety report someone else filed about you may be kept with the link to your account removed, so we still have a record of the moderation decision. Reports you submitted are deleted with your account.
